WHO WE ARE

Women’s Leadership Works team members come from across the country and bring innovative approaches to women’s leadership and public policy. Energetic and experienced, our team has trained extensively around the world and in our own backyards. We have worked closely for the last ten years as staff and consultants to The White House Project. Together, we created Vote, Run, Lead – the country’s largest nonpartisan civic and political training program. We are thrilled to be reinvigorating the work of Vote, Run, Lead. WHAT WE DO

Women’s Leadership Works supports the aspirations of women who want to transform our country and democracy through their participation as leaders. From civic and community leaders to elected and appointed positions, women are vastly underrepresented in public leadership and desperately needed. Research from across sectors demonstrates the value of more women in top posts to help better business, progress policy and strengthen democracy. WLW will train, support and encourage women to lead in cities and towns across the United States; utilize social and digital media platforms to increase civic literacy and policy influence; partner with international women leaders to build women’s global political power; and engage organizations and businesses around growing the leadership potential of constituents and employees.
